You make a similar argument to Dave Walker except in reverse. He initially compared Adobe Connect to GoToMeeting on the grounds of a similar price point, i.e. what do you get for your money? Once you add webinar functionality to GoToMeeting you get GoToWebinar and the price goes up. So now you're getting better registration functionality out of GoToWebinar but for twice the price. Now, you add on Adobe Connect's Event module to gain GoToWebinar's registration capabilities and the price see-saw goes in the other direction with the Adobe solution costing much more. The bottom line is you really have to do a function vs price comparison and then match that up with your budget.
